Unlike when previous generations got married, you will have a variety of types of cakes stands waiting for you to pick from them. In part, your cake stand selection will depend on the type of cake you want at your wedding, but much of your choice depends on your own personal preference. The design which is quickly becoming the favorite among modern brides is an asymetrical non-stacked design. The different layers of the cake are on different levels which are arranged in three dimensions, typically around a central focal point. This design can be especially advantageous if you want to offer many different cake flavors but have them with a unified design.
Finally, another idea on the rise is the cupcake stand. More and more, brides are turning away from a traditional cake and turning to cupcakes for their wedding cake. Cupcake stands come in a variety of designs that can really make the cupcakes look very attractive and stylish.
